Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda
Your Ugandan adventure begins with a warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport. You’ll be transferred to your hotel for rest and briefing. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy optional visits to the Botanical Gardens or stroll along the tranquil shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive north toward Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track southern white rhinos on foot, completing your first Big Five experience. Proceed through charming rural landscapes to Murchison Falls, arriving in time to relax at your lodge overlooking the Nile River.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile
Rise early for a thrilling game drive across the Buligi and Delta plains, where lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and leopards roam. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch hippos wallow, crocodiles sunbathe, and colorful birdlife fill the air. Later, hike to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile as it surges through a narrow gorge.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, travel south through the Albertine Rift Valley, passing traditional homesteads and tea plantations. The journey offers scenic views of rolling hills and crater lakes. Arrive at Kibale, the “Primate Capital of the World,” and unwind at your lodge nestled in the rainforest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Today, venture into Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. Follow rangers through the dense vegetation to meet our closest relatives as they play, feed, and communicate. In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run project rich in birdlife, butterflies, and smaller primates.

Day 6: Transfer to Semuliki National Park – The True African Wilderness
Depart for Semuliki National Park, located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. This lesser-visited park is famed for its Sempaya Hot Springs, rich birdlife, and cultural diversity. Enjoy a guided walk to the hot springs and experience the strong geothermal activity up close.

Day 7: Birding & Cultural Encounters in Semuliki
Spend the day exploring Semuliki’s tropical lowland forest — one of the richest ecosystems in Africa. You may encounter forest elephants, monkeys, and rare central African bird species. Later, visit a local Bakonjo or Batwa community for a glimpse into their ancient traditions and way of life.

Day 8: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today, drive through the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most famous savannah reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy an evening game drive across the Kasenyi plains, where lions stalk antelope herds and elephants gather near the crater lakes.

Day 9: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Begin your day with a game drive at sunrise to spot predators and grazing animals. Day 10: Ishasha Sector – Tree-Climbing Lions

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – The Switzerland of Africa

Day 14: Lake Mburo National Park – Zebra Plains & Rolling Hills
Leave Bunyonyi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest but most charming savannah park. Take an afternoon game drive in search of zebras, impalas, elands, and giraffes. Evening options include a night game drive to spot nocturnal species like leopards and bushbabies.
