10 Days Serengeti & Zanzibar Escape

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature as you prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and stopping en route for panoramic views of the crater rim. As you descend into the boundless Serengeti plains, the magic of the African wilderness unfolds—endless horizons dotted with acacia trees and herds of wildlife grazing freely.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where the sounds of the wild create an enchanting evening backdrop.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the legendary Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich regions on Earth. Depending on the season, you may follow the Great Wildebeest Migration, a spectacle of millions of wildebeest and zebras crossing rivers and plains in search of greener pastures.

Your guide will lead you through the park’s diverse habitats, from the Seronera Valley’s predator territories to the open plains alive with antelope and giraffes. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your adventure until sunset.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy one last morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti, watching the savannah come alive in the golden dawn light. Continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with an optional stop at a Maasai village for a cultural experience.

Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim by evening. Relax as you take in sweeping views of the vast caldera below—one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Flight to Zanzibar

Early in the morning, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder teeming with an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, flamingos, and the elusive black rhino during your half-day game drive across the crater floor.

After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend back to the rim and drive to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your beach resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Zanzibar – Stone Town Tour

After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Stone Town, Zanzibar’s historic heart and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, and the former slave market for a glimpse into Zanzibar’s rich Swahili-Arab history.

Return to your resort in the afternoon for leisure time by the beach or poolside.

Day 7: Zanzibar – Spice Farm & Jozani Forest

Continue to the Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, home to the rare Red Colobus Monkeys, one of the few primates unique to Zanzibar.

In the late afternoon, return to your resort for a relaxing evening at the beach.
