7 Days Tanzania Wildlife Experience
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Gateway to the Northern Circuit
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania. Take time to relax and acclimate after your journey, enjoying the lush gardens and mountain views. Later, your guide will brief you on the upcoming safari adventure, setting the stage for the days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a land of towering baobab trees and sweeping savannahs where great herds of elephants roam freely. The Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, attracts countless animals—zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and predators such as lions and leopards.
Enjoy a full-day game drive through this diverse park, pausing for a picnic lunch overlooking the riverbanks where elephants gather to drink. As the sun dips low, exit the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet biodiverse paradise that lies beneath the towering cliffs of the Great Rift Valley. Known for its tree-climbing lions and large troops of baboons, the park is also home to hippos, giraffes, elephants, and an incredible array of birdlife, including flamingos that tint the lake pink.
Spend the day exploring the park’s forests, floodplains, and lakeshore before heading to your accommodation in Karatu, nestled on the lush highlands near Ngorongoro.

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most celebrated wildlife sanctuary. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the vast Ngorongoro Crater before continuing across the endless Serengeti plains.
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy your first thrilling game drive en route to your lodge or camp. The Serengeti teems with wildlife—herds of wildebeest and zebra grazing peacefully, lions lounging under acacia trees, and cheetahs scanning the plains for prey. As dusk falls, settle into your camp as the sounds of the wilderness fill the air.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Rise with the dawn for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, following the rhythms of the wild. Depending on the time of year, you might witness the world-famous Great Wildebeest Migration, a breathtaking spectacle of movement and survival as millions of animals traverse the plains in search of greener pastures.
Your safari will also bring you close to elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards, and the elusive black rhino. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue exploring until evening when you return to your lodge for dinner and storytelling under the star-filled African sky.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy one last game drive through the Serengeti before traveling toward Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most remarkable natural wonders on Earth. En route, stop at a Maasai village for an optional cultural encounter to learn about their traditions and coexistence with wildlife.
Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim, offering panoramic views of the caldera below. Spend the evening relaxing by the fire as you anticipate tomorrow’s descent into this wildlife paradise.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Departure
Today you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eden of Africa.” The crater floor is a thriving ecosystem teeming with wildlife—black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, flamingos, and countless gazelles all share this natural amphitheater. Enjoy a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch beside the hippo pools, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the crater walls.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of a truly unforgettable safari.
