10 Days Best of Uganda Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or relax along the shores of Lake Victoria. Enjoy dinner and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, set out for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the southern white rhinos on foot — a thrilling conservation experience. Continue through lush savannah landscapes to Murchison Falls, where the Nile River explodes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters below.

Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari
Rise early for a morning game drive across the Buligi sector. Expect sightings of elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, and oribis grazing in the golden light. After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. The riverbanks teem with hippos, crocodiles, and a vibrant birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork. End the day with a hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking panoramic views.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
Depart Murchison Falls and journey southwest through the Albertine Rift Valley, passing traditional villages and scenic tea plantations. Arrive in the lush Kibale Forest region, often called the “Primate Capital of the World.” The afternoon is at leisure — relax at your lodge surrounded by the soothing sounds of the rainforest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After an early breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience. Follow expert rangers as they guide you through dense vegetation to meet these intelligent primates. Watch them play, groom, and swing through the forest canopy. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk — a paradise for birders and lovers of community tourism.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today’s drive takes you south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Africa’s most biodiverse reserves. Enjoy scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and a brief stop at the equator line for photos. Arrive in the park and embark on an evening game drive through the Kasenyi plains, where lions and elephants roam freely.

Day 7: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Cruise
Start your day with an early game drive through the Kasenyi sector — prime territory for predators and antelope species. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Watch hippos laze in the water, crocodiles bask on the shores, and countless birds — from African fish eagles to kingfishers — fill the skies.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The drive passes through the rolling hills of Kigezi, often called “the Switzerland of Africa.” Arrive at your lodge overlooking the forested slopes and prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Adventure
This is the highlight of your safari — an encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas. After a briefing by park rangers, enter the misty jungle in small groups to track your assigned gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on their movement, but the reward is beyond measure. Spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants — a moment that lingers for a lifetime. Later, return to the lodge and spend the evening reflecting on this extraordinary experience.

Day 10: Return to Entebbe / Departure
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe, driving through the scenic Ankole farmlands and tea estates. Depending on your flight schedule, you may stop at the Equator for souvenirs and photos before continuing to the airport for your departure — marking the end of your remarkable 10-day Ugandan adventure.
