9 Days Uganda Adventure Circuit
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide will warmly welcome you to Uganda. You’ll be transferred to your hotel to relax after your flight. Depending on your arrival time, optional activities include visiting the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or watching the sunset over Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most scenic reserve. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided on-foot rhino tracking experience — your first encounter with one of the Big Five. Continue your drive through savannah landscapes to Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge to create one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls.

Day 3: Game Drive & Nile River Boat Safari
Rise early for a sunrise game drive across the Buligi plains, where elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes roam the golden grasslands. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and colorful birdlife along the way. For the adventurous, hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views of the thundering Nile.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park – The Primate Capital
After breakfast, leave Murchison Falls and journey south through rolling hills and traditional villages toward Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its rich primate diversity. The route winds through the tea estates of Fort Portal, offering stunning views of the crater lakes. Arrive in the evening to the sounds of the forest surrounding your lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After an early breakfast, set off into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Follow your ranger guide through thick vegetation as you listen for the distinctive hoots of chimpanzees echoing through the canopy. Spend an hour watching them interact, feed, and swing gracefully from branch to branch.
In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-based project rich in birdlife, butterflies, and monkeys. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience Uganda’s local conservation efforts and rural culture.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Africa’s most biodiverse reserves. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and stop at the equator line for photos. Arrive in time for an evening game drive through the Kasenyi plains, where lions, elephants, and warthogs roam freely against a stunning sunset backdrop.

Day 7: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start your day with a sunrise game drive through the open plains, spotting Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, and possibly leopards. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. This tranquil waterway is home to one of the world’s largest hippo populations and abundant bird species, offering incredible photography moments.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha
Depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel through the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions often seen lounging in fig trees. Continue south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sanctuary for over half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge nestled on the forested slopes of Bwindi.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking & Return to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, gather at the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. Hike through dense rainforest terrain with experienced rangers as you search for a family of mountain gorillas. Once found, spend an awe-inspiring hour observing their interactions — a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience.
After the trek, begin your return journey to Entebbe or take an optional local flight. Depending on your departure time, you’ll arrive in the evening, marking the end of your incredible Uganda Adventure Circuit.
